8HS High Temperature Fiberglass High Silica Cloth White For Fire Blanket
8HS High Temperature Fiberglass High Silica Cloth For Fire Blanket
Jotex's 0.7mm high silica cloth is is woven from high purity, high strength amorphous silica fibers. It is a very strong but also flexible fabric. It is a kind of inorganic fibre fabric with a lot of content of silica (more than 96% SiO2). The softening point of this silica fabric is close to 1300℃. It can withstand a temperature of 800 degree Celsius continuously. Most significantly, the instantaneous temperature of 1200 degree. It is an ideal high temperature fabric, it will not burn, rot, mildew or deteriorate and anti most chemical acids.
Weight of this fabric is 600g/m2. Thickness is 0.7mm. Count per cm is 18/13. Weave of this high silica cloth is 8HS satin weave. Satin weave is more stable than the plain weave and is easier to conform to curved surfaces typical in reinforced plastics. In this weave pattern eight harness satin, there is a seven-by-one interfacing where a filling yarn floats over seven warp yarns and under one. If you want 12 harness satin, it is high silica cloth 1200g 1.3mm.
